Dr Thurairetnam Sivaruban, widely known as Dr Ruban, is a respected Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. With clinical experience across major public hospitals including Nepean, Bowral, Port Macquarie, Wyoming, and St Joseph’s, Dr Ruban now operates in private practice, providing psychiatric assessments and treatment to adults aged 18 and over.
He has extensive experience in managing mood disorders, anxiety, and psychotic illnesses, with a strong clinical interest in the psychiatric care of patients aged over 65 and veterans. Dr Ruban also specialises in medico-legal psychiatry and is a certified Independent Medical Examiner for a wide range of compensation and legal schemes including workers’ compensation, fitness for duty, TPD, DVA, and medical negligence.
